The perfect fall inspired wedding bouquet

Today's feature is a follow-up to yesterday's rustic wedding inspiration at the cider mill. Kim of Something Floral joins us again with a never before seen bouquet she created to coordinate with the photo shoot. Don't you just love how the bouquet even features apples? Kim wrapped the floral stems in layered burlap, satin ribbon and lace which was then accented iwth a small wooden apple cut-out shape.

The bouquet includes Roses, Lilies, Waxflower, Hypericum, Chrysanthemums, and Fern Shoots.

What about adding some ribbon bows?

November 20, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterribbons

Thanks for the bow suggestion. We didn't add a bow to this bouquet as we've noticed a steep decline in the popularity of bows on wedding bouquets over the past few years. Brides just aren't requesting them as they once did. Only about 10-15% of our clients are requesting bows on their bouquets, compared to about 50-60% just 5 years ago. The current trend here seems to be "less is more" with brides choosing more simple silhouettes and stem wraps, with no bows and no streamers.
