Inspiration Board : a Vintage Holiday Glamour Party

It's been quite some time since I've put together an inspiration board and with the holidays approaching faster than I care to admit, I decided it's time to start putting some new holiday themed ones together. Today's inspiration is all about a glamorous vintage holiday party. It all started when I saw the amazing black vintage dress from Sui Numeris Bride. I fell in love and immediately started putting this inspiration together. And, of course I couldn't resist adding in that amazing bedroom and the pretty lace slip-on dress with the pop of red for when the party is over :)

A Vintage European Wedding with lots of DIY goodness + balloons

Today's Real Wedding showcase of Gilles and Gromaire comes to us all the way from France. Elisabeth Perotin Photographie loves to shoot retro-boheme styled weddings, and this one couldn't have been more perfect for Elizabeth to photograph. The bride, Gilles, wore a 20's style dress made by "Lili M" who is a very talented designer from Reims, France and carried a gorgeous bouquet of peonies. The brides shoes were by Vivienne Westwood. The bride also created everything for the wedding herself - isn't it just amazing?!?!?!

It's All In the Details : an eco-vintage fall themed bridal shower

You may remember seeing last months photo shoot of the eco-vintage fall themed bridal shower from eco-stylist, Michelle Savin. This shoot was all about going vintage and using the natural colors from apples and pears and was part of the October Wedding Vendor Challenges on Brenda's Wedding Blog. Today we're focusing on the details from the shoot and you can see even more from the shoot here. The apple garland hanging from the chair is simply stunning, don't you think?

Photo Shoot : a vintage themed outdoor "mock" wedding

This mock wedding was a stylized shoot photographed at an old sawmill in Florida. The groom wore tails and the bride wore a lace dress. The cake is just beautiful with handmade cameos. The use of mis-matched place settings creates the feeling that you just pulled the items out of your grandmother's trunk.

Real Engagement : A Day at the Beach in Canada - vintage style

I love engagement sessions that take place at special locations and make use of the beautiful natural beauty of the surroundings in the area. In this case, the location was St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Lauren and Philip spend a day at the beach for their engagement session and I LOVE the carousel photos.
