Inspiration : it's all about yellow ... with buttons, billy buttons and ribbons

The inspiration for this spectacular shoot began with the location, the Paragon Restaurant, because of its clean, urban setting. The color was added with pops of yellow in the flowers, ribbons, salad plate and lots of buttons. The bright color against a clean background allowed the setting to be fun yet modern. Buttons were even sprinkled on the tables {like confetti}, they were sewn on the ribbon backdrop, used to create napkin rings and they were even tucked into the bouquet and centerpieces. The yellow was carried thru the desserts too with the macarons and even a lemon drop at each plate setting.

A blue and yellow Michigan Wedding with sparkling beads + candy

Alaina & Jon | Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

The beautiful wedding of Alaina & Jon {from Jackie Blair of JACQART} features the colors of the University of Michigan which was the financé's alma mater. The entire wedding was tied together with a monogram and the blue and yellow {gold} color scheme. The bride even handmade all her invitation packets. The reception was overflowing with amazing details including tall candlesticks that were draped with sparkling beads. And, for the cocktail hour, there was a candy bar in the wedding colors.

Real Wedding : a gorgeous summer wedding along Lake Michigan

[ Nesrin + Jeff ] in Petoskey, Michigan

Today's real wedding from Paul Retherford Wedding Photography is just gorgeous - check out the brides dress. WOW!!!!! The bride is from Turkey and the groom grew up in the area. They married in a traditional church wedding and held their reception at a local venue. Their portraits were taken along Lake Michigan and Bay Harbor Michigan marina. Nesrin's wedding dress is from Aysira Gelinlik - it is one of the Turkish wedding dress brands.
