Real Wedding : a breathtakingly gorgeous and elegant reception party

This spectacular event was the reception party that Nabila and Amid put together for their family and friends. The actual wedding ceremony and their first reception had already taken place in Bangladesh. Wait until you see the lighting for the outdoor reception - it's simply amazing and spectacular. As is the presentation of all the food. I love how as the night approached the tent became aglow with pink/purple lighting. So much fun. Photographs are by SYPhotography

An Island Chic Modern Wedding in Missouri

With Trae being from Nassau, Bahamas {born/bred/raised} and the wedding being in St. Louis - the “island chic” theme was formed. Without beautiful bodies of water nearby - the theme was incorporated by the use of colors (aqua for the color of the sea, red for coral, and white for the sand). Along with subtle motifs like corals and starfish and the food had a tropical flair. The menu was super clever with it's play on the letters “ME  n  U”.

Real Wedding : a gorgeous summer wedding along Lake Michigan

Today's real wedding from Paul Retherford Wedding Photography is just gorgeous - check out the brides dress. WOW!!!!! The bride is from Turkey and the groom grew up in the area. They married in a traditional church wedding and held their reception at a local venue. Their portraits were taken along Lake Michigan and Bay Harbor Michigan marina. Nesrin's wedding dress is from Aysira Gelinlik - it is one of the Turkish wedding dress brands.

Real Engagement : traveling to the west into a deserted ghost town

Starting the week off with another stunning feature from Photography by Verdi. This real engagement of Amanda and Derrick is just beautiful - the perfect lighting, location, "natural" props and a couple in love. Photography by Verdi shares a bit about what they envisioned for this shoot . . "that this couple was just traveling through the west and come upon this all but deserted ghost town. Cleator Arizona." I'm in love with the gorgeous scenic backdrop - amazing!!!!
